Machine Safety Engineering and Production Systems

We do this by guiding the Client through every stage of the path defined by Product Safety Engineering, which includes:

  • Risk Assessment integrated with determining the required Performance Level (PLr);
  • Technical Documentation for Machines, Related Products, and Partly Completed Machinery
  • Application of the EN ISO 13849-1 standard:
  • Design of the block diagrams for Safety-Related Parts of Control Systems (SRP/CS)
  • Validation of wiring and hardware for input/output signals
  • Evaluation of the Safety Integrity of the achieved Performance Level (PL) using SISTEMA software  
  • Lock-Out / Tag-Out procedures for the Automotive sector
  • Job Plan and PM Plan for the Automotive sector

Ergonomics and Human Factors Engineering

Through a multidisciplinary, inclusive, and international approach, we integrate Human Factors Engineering into the design processes to optimize Human-Machine Interaction and Human-System Interaction, i.e., interactions among people, machines, and environments.
